Misc blog.

I couldn't find anything on internet that may explain this unusual problem of mine. It's nothing serious so far, and don't worry, it's not "private" problem.

Basically, once a while my big toe ( either one ) starts to go down and continues well past the point where it get really painful. But I could force it back up and it's fine. Sometimes it's really stubborn, however.

The big toe thing is very common, happening in least 5 times or more a week. Most times it is not stubborn so I can just force it back once and it's fine, although I can feel muscle still very slightly pulling afterward.

Other places it could happen is:

The top of my arm, the single muscle that controls my hand placement gets tight and my hand went up and stuck there. I forced it back and it's ok again. That happened only once.

The tiny muscle in side of my hand, below the pinky gets stuck. I couldn't force it back out so I simply waited till it got tired and let go. Luckily that one wasn't painful. Happened only twice.

One of my leg muscle did get stuck once. I think it's called calf, it's big muscle below knee and at back of leg. It happened a few times.

It's real annoying problem and I couldn't find any cause or possible reasons for this. I made this blog in hopes of someone knowing what the hell this is. I do hope it's not signs of something really serious but I can take the bad news.

It could be a problem with your blood circulation or clotting. I know someone that had similar problems and it turned out to be a blood clot. I would have it checkked out by a doctor SAP rather than look for advice here. Hopefully it is nothing....

Yeah? Odd thing that it's always SINGLE muscle. It started years ago too. I think it was about 6 years ago when it started to happen.

tendonitis? Lack of sleep? Dehydration? Lack of potassium? Inadequate diet? Lack of exercise? Repetitive movement? Crappy posture? Who knows! Have you have already addressed these issues bt the problem interferes with your quality of life then go see a doctor. If you aren't sure what it is, go see a doctor to get some peace of mind. Do you really want to be saying to yourself, "if only I had seen a doctor earlier"?

Personally, I would rather be able to say, "Well, don't have to worry about that anymore."

Hope you're ok.

It may have diet/food origin ... have you given up any foods recently or have you discovered a new delicacy ? Weird!

Only thing I had given up is soft drinks, but I had this problem long before that.

I'm still waiting for doctor appointment at Jan 28th.
