I was reading my book in bed (usual for me) when I had a nature's call and I went to restroom, but I saw a flashlight shining in living room. I was kind of nervous. Was that crook looking for stuff to see if it's worthwhile to steal? But I saw the face, it was policeman.
I went back to my room to dress up ( I was just wearing underwear ) and went out. Policeman tried to speak but I am deaf. I mimed writing and he took out pen and paper, and explained to me that they caught someone stealing the red bike. The police was trying to get attention but there is no hearing people ( yes, we deaf people call you guys "hearing people" ) in my home today. I was right on original guess, but in different way, apparently. He asked me if I wanted her arrested, I said (wrote) yes. He asked me few questions such as whats my name, b-day, etc. I answered those. I went with them to the side of my home.
I saw a girl in back of the police car. He told me that she is only 12 years old, I recanted but requested that she be held a day to teach her a lesson on stealing. They (police) looked over the bicycle and put serial, looks etc down on the record. I thanked the police people and secured the red bike.
The whole thing reminded me when I was young ( *geezer at 28 years old??* ) and my bicycle was stolen then. I remember the feeling. I'm glad my niece was spared this.
It was at 2 AM. 12 years outside stealing at 2 AM? 2 AM?? Well now that I wrote a blog on this so-called adventure, ( Should I put in MIS? ) it's time for me to sleep. Sorry if my blog isn't up to my usual par. This blog is saved by IeSpell, found at http://iespell.com .

A very curious thing, I think.

Yes, it was fortunate the police officer caught the thief.
